The import begins with your own search. Mobile.de is Europe's largest vehicle marketplace with over 1.4 million listings. Search by brand, model, mileage, year and equipment. No German skills needed – the website is also available in English.
Step 2: Send the Vehicle Link to Wilson
Found a car you like? Copy the link from your browser and send it via our contact form. Our team will review the vehicle and get back to you within 24 hours.
Step 3: Vehicle Check and Quotation
Wilson Autohandel checks the listing, clarifies questions with the seller and creates a transparent quote including all costs.
Step 4: Purchase and Transport
After your approval, we purchase the vehicle in Germany and organise transport to Switzerland. You don't need to travel to Germany – we handle everything.
Step 5: Customs Clearance
Wilson Autohandel handles all customs formalities at the Swiss border including payment of import duties. You receive a full invoice.
Step 6: Roadworthiness Inspection and Registration
The vehicle undergoes the Swiss roadworthiness test (MFK). After passing, it is registered at the cantonal road traffic office and receives Swiss number plates.
Step 7: Leasing Activation and Handover
The fully imported and registered vehicle is financed through our leasing partners. At handover, you receive all vehicle documents and your keys.
The entire process typically takes 3–5 weeks from enquiry to handover. Expedited processing is also possible for urgent cases.
